Lookbook

  Designers and retail stores often put out lookbooks to feature new merchandise and how to style it. They provide encouragement to buy new apparel items and inspirations to make a complete look.

   One brand that came to mind that has a great lookbook and styles their clothing exceptionally well is AllSaints. They create a new lookbook every month with a mix of new and previous merchandise. Whether you want a light and airy vibe or contemporary western, AllSaints effectively displayed their new items with chic ease.

Their lookbook is straight forward and displays the name and prices of styles items when hovering over the image. The above styles follow the basic stylistic qualities of AllSaints: black and whites and boxy silhouettes. 

 

This April lookbook features a combination of warm and cool tones with browns and blues. In my opinion, this is a new direction for the brand. There's definitely a Western vibe being carried through the collection. It's expressed through the brown suede shoes and button embellished skirt. The muted hushed tones appear dusty and worn in which fits the AlSaints tone and compliments its polished look. 

Two styles that I thought were a new twist on what the brand does are the above styles. I would have never expected the company to do a lacey cut out piece. Both are still nice and fit the mold of not being form fitting. Though the garments are in a dark navy I saw other pieces like a chambray button down and long white dress with hole marks that were equally surprising to see for this brand.
