New Fashion Show Formats

Fashion shows are one of the most common ways to generate buzz over a new collection. Models wear the clothing and strut down a runway where photographers and buyers take photos of their own and write about it later. This past year, there's been a few that have gone further than the ordinary runway and have incorporated social media and altered the typical runway show.

   Kenneth Cole used promoted tweets to create more traffic for the brand and the live stream show. This included hashtags, keywords, branded terms to reach out to relevant audiences. They also used #KCRunway to promote brand awareness. When the show aired online, live tweets and conversations were positioned on the screen. Anyone who tweeted in real time via the live stream was entered in a gift card giveaway.
